Your Assignment: Recording a Script
1. Practice Objectives
• To become familiar with using Self-Hypnosis via a recorded script.
• Practice writing a script, voice modulation, patter, hypnosis vocabulary and positive phrasing.
• Test out your Self-Hypnosis method and script by recording it and using it regularly.
• Observe the changes that the self-hypnosis has created in your life.
1. In this activity you will use the Self-Hypnosis Script to record a Self-Hypnosis to make a change in your life.
This could be a behavioural change, or changing a belief that doesn’t serve you.
2. Once you have recorded the Script, use it daily for two weeks.

You will need:
• Self-Hypnosis Script from the Scripts Pack (found here) to use as a guideline, but we recommend you include additional scripting that suits your personal objective.
• This instruction sheet
• A recording device
Here are some additional samples of scripting for you.
I feel good, I feel fine ... I feel perfectly calm. Each and every deep breath that I take lets me rest deeper and deeper ... each and every sound that I hear allows me to rest deeper and deeper ... nothing will disturb me ... just breathe deeply and rest deeply ... Let my body become calmer ... let all of my muscles go limp as I gain control over the powerful sub-conscious part of my mind ... all of my cares and troubles are just drifting away ... I can bring them back at any time I want but if feels good to let them drift away at this time...
Each and every breath I take allows me to rest deeper and deeper ... each and every sound that I hear, allows me to rest deeper and deeper ... I feel good ... I feel fine ..., I feel perfectly and completely calm ... My mind is alert and aware and my body is resting perfectly ... Each and every time I practice this exercise, I will find myself resting to a greater and greater degree...
My body feels totally limp and my mind is keenly alert, aware and very powerful ... I can achieve anything I want when I execute my own mind power ... I will find I am sleeping better when it’s time to sleep and I will find more energy when I am awake ... my life is getting better and better.
Day by day, in every way, I am getting better and better. I feel good ... I feel fine ... I feel totally and completely, calm ... In a moment I am going to count from 1 to 5 ... By the time I reach 5, I will be alert and find myself resting to a greater and greater degree ... all right... one ... two ... three ... four ... FIVE ... I am wide awake ... alert and feeling better in every way.
