Leslie McIntosh - BCHt, CBHt, CI

  Leslie McIntosh is a Board certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, as well as a Cogntive Behaviour Hypnotherapist- specializing in Regression therapy, Soul Screening and Parts Therapy.

She has over 25 years of facilitation experience. She is recognized by the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association as a quality trainer and her students are recognized as some of the best professional Hypnotherapists in North America. She is certified as an Instructor and is Board Certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists.

She has been recognized for her work as a presenter at the IMDHA convention.

Over the last decade she has assisted many others to release limiting beliefs or behaviors to support their own healing and move forward with a new profession. Through her mentoring and training skills many graduates have developed the confidence to become Trainers themselves.

Leslie is also a Trainer of Heart Resonance Therapy, and has done Healing Touch and Vibrational Sound Healing. With her many years of adult  facilitation experience, Leslie delivers learning according to leading adult-learning methodologies. She also has a private Clinical Hypnotherapy practice on the Coastal Academy campus inGuildford, BC.

Jeannie brings her extensive experience in counseling and business administration to her work as a facilitator and mentor at Coastal Academy of Hypnotic Arts and Science.
Her 25 years of experience as a teacher of Intuitive studies and personal empowerment, and her passion for understanding the healing powers of the mind have guided her to her work as a full time Clinical Hypnotherapist.
She is certified in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behavior Hypnotherapy, and specializes in Children’s issues and Fertility issues.


 

 SUSAN TURNER-CHt - Instructor

 Certified Hypnotherapist, Cognitive Behaviour Hypnotherapist

  Susan Turner is a certified Trainer and a past graduate of Coastal Academy of Hypnotic Arts & Science. She is certified in Clinical Hypnotherapy,    Cognitive Behaviour Hypnotherapy, and Trainer of Heart Resonance Therapy.  She is an active member of the International Medical and Dental    Association of Hypnotherapists (IMDHA), Co-chairing the Coastal Chapter of the IMDHA, and a member of the National Guild of Hypnotherapy. 

Recognized by the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce for Business Excellence, Susan’s previous business - The Garden Spa - earned 2 business nominations under her leadership.  She successfully built all aspects of the business including: training, operations, development strategies and marketing that eventually lead to the nominations for Excellence in Customer Service (2008) followed by Business Person of the Year (2009).  Susan’s passion for health through stress relief led her to hypnotherapy in 2006 after seeing her daughter’s long standing 4 year barrier to writing math exams dissolve in 1 session.  A new passion emerged as Susan realized she had found a therapeutic solution that offered permanent healing.  Susan chose Coastal Academy’s training programs because she recognized the same key ingredients present under Leslie’s leadership:commitment to quality, excellence, respect and caring for the development and success of Coastal students and graduates.

Susan now dedicates her time to a full time private Hypnotherapy practise, teaches part-time during the 4 week Clinical program and mentoris new hypnotherapists.

  Farzana Jaffer-Jeraj  BA,CHt, CMT - Instructor

  Farzana has been working in the field of self-development for over 14 years. She holds a BA in Psychology from Simon Fraser University. She has studied at the JIBC and Erikson College and has trained with Tony Robbins among other self-help experts. As a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Pain Relief Educator, as well as a Certified Professional Coach; Farzana combines compassion and intuition with her vast background and training to provide her clients with the best service for their needs. She has a private practice in Vancouver and facilitates motivational seminars worldwide. Her main specialization is in assisting people in getting that "joie de vivre" back.

 Farzana teaches part-time during the 4 week Clinical Hypnotherpist program and also teaches the Science to Metaphysics of Crystals.

  Brian Wallace, BCH, CMT - Instructor

Since being initially trained in Clinical Hypnotherapy at Coastal Academy over six years ago, Brian has steadfastly both practiced and studied the psychological and physiological effects of behaviors within the context of medical science and how understanding and altering them can relieve and resolve many conditions, including IBS, Fibromyalgia, Allergies, Asthma, Pain Management, and more. Brian has also studied and practiced extensively within the field of addictions and recovery and applied that knowledge in the treatment of over 500 clients in the area of smoking cessation alone, as well as in alcohol, drug and behavioral addictions.

After operating a successful full-time practice in downtown Vancouver for four years and having the opportunity to instruct 4th year Naturopathic Medical Students (The first to ever do so in the history of Naturopathic medicine in North America) for 3 years  and being the only non-physician to act as a Preceptor for new graduated students, doing guest lectures at Coastal Academy for Intensive and Part-time learners,  Brian travelled to New Zealand for 14 months to explore an international practice and enjoy a well-earned sabbatical – spending his time focusing on research and review of medical hypnosis literature and case studies from current implementations to ones that date back as far as the late 1800’s.

Brian brings his unique perspective, experience and enthusiasm for the application of the hypnosis profession within medicine to the material he teaches and continues his life-long commitment to the learning process. Brian has been Board Certified by the Natural Therapies Certification Board,  certified in Pain Management, Advanced Pain Management, Emergency Hypnosis, Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy, and is a member of the IMDHA / IACT and NGH. Brian continues to use his front-line experience to help ensure that his lectures are always current and scientifically sound.  Brian guest lectures during the Intensive programs and teaches continuing education programs.

The designated title of Certified Master Trainer is IACT's highest trainer status and distinguishes these professionals as part of an elite group. As a Certified Master Trainer with IACT, they represent the International Certifying Body on the highest level. As such, they exemplify professional conduct that reflects positively upon IACT and the profession. Our Certified Master Trainers, strictly adhere to the IACT Code of Ethics and set a positive example for others to follow.
